Prep Time: 25 minutes
Get cozy with a bowl of cinnamon spiced sweet potatoes, infused with protein rich goat milk goodness.
4 sweet potatoes
1 apple, sliced thin or diced
¼ cup of chopped nuts and seeds
½ cup of whole goat milk
2 tablespoons of goat milk butter
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of salt
Peel the sweet potatoes and poke a few holes around each before adding to a pot of boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Once the time is up, check to see if the potatoes are tender by trying to stick a fork through to the middle. Continue to boil until soft.
Then, strain the potatoes and add them back into the warm pot. Mix in the goat milk and butter, cinnamon, and salt. Use a potato masher, fork, or if you want a super creamy mash, simply add everything into a blender and mix until smooth.
Add in fresh or dried fruits along with nuts and seeds of choice. Serve warm and enjoy!
